First opening in 2009 as a small, outdoor personal training business, Beach Fit Personal Training took off fast. Thanks to dedicated members and the committed Beach Fit team, the business has grown dramatically to become one of Newcastle’s leading personal training businesses.

By 2011, Beach Fit opened it’s doors to it’s first fully equipped gym and dance studio, equipped with the knowledge and experience to provide refined and effective training techniques to ensure every member reaches their fitness, health, and body-shape goals.

After more than ten years, and 20,000 combined member training hours, we believe we know a thing or two about helping people achieve their goals.

Steve

Stephen Hogan is a fitness guru, and is dedicated to continuously improving his understanding of training techniques, body mechanics and exercise physiology. The owner of Beach Fit Personal Training, he has more than 10 years experience as a PT and Sport and Exercise Scientist, during which time he has inspired and guided the body transformation of a myriad of clients, including State and National level athletes.

Steve is a strong believer that every trainer should practice what they preach, ensuring he understands exactly what each exercise feels like, and how the body physiologically responds to said exercise before encouraging a client to do it. Steve is a recognised published author, and has provided expert health and fitness advice to national magazines. He is no stranger to the difficulties of maintaining a healthy and toned body whatever your lifestyle, not only from his years of training experience but also thanks having previously worked for four years behind a desk as a Chemical Engineer.

When he’s not going the extra mile to help a client achieve their goals, you’ll find Steve surfing, working on his own fitness and health, or nose deep in an exercise physiology textbook. He’s committed to consistent growth and understanding of what he does.

Sami

Sami is a highly qualified personal trainer who lives by one philosophy – that exercise is for everyone and should be made fun and enjoyable. Sami has an immense heart and will refuse to give up on you.

Sami is a skilled pole fitness enthusiast, a mother of two and a skilled dancer. She knows exactly what it takes to balance a busy family life with keeping fit, strong and flexible. She has an extensive experience in strength training and flexibility training with as they are the foundations of excelling at pole fitness.

Sami will always have a strong focus on the needs, goals and abilities of you to provide your best possible pathway to a Beach Fit body while ensuring you have fun every step of the way. When Sami isn’t teaching you’ll find her doing her own training or out and about socialising and living and active lifestyle with her family. She is definitely one of those people you wonder how she finds the energy and time for everything she does.
